Minimal costs of launching and an opportunity to involve investors from all over the world make the beginners work on ICO market even in the face of control tightening.
According to Jason Cassidy, the head of Blockchain TV, there are some reasons why promising projects prefer ICO instead of traditional venture capital raising. First of all, the entrance barriers of ICO are lower. Secondly, launch cost of successful crowdsale is relatively lower, too. Moreover, refusal of venture capital gives to the creators absolute control over the projects.
Nevertheless, Cassidy considers, as the industry grows, that the system of ICO will be becoming more complex because of necessary regulation by the government and the institutions.
