September 7, 2018
A scientific research company from Brussels called Bruegel has sent a report to financial ministers of the European Union and noted, that the alliance must create general rules and standardized regulation for using cryptocurrency in trading activities.
The report was made to the Informal meeting of economic and financial affairs ministers in Vienna.
Researchers noted, that the European Union must toughen general standards for the control of cryptocurrency trading platforms, ICOs, and cryptocurrency miners. They also acknowledge that the decentralization of cryptocurrency makes it almost impossible to regulate this industry.
The report noted that the cryptocurrency regulation must be applied to all organizations, related to cryptocurrency. Researches also referenced cryptocurrency crackdown in China.
