Hacked Bithumb Crypto Exchange Made $35 Million Over Last 6 Months

One of the co-owners of the South Korea-based crypto platform called Bithumb has published a statement saying that since the beginning of the year the company has made around $35 million.
The published data also show that the exchange has gained over $270 million with about $195 million as income from operational activity.
Meanwhile the index accounted to around 380 million dollars over the last year which is 10 times higher than that during the first 6 months this year.
Early summer the crypto exchange fell victim to hackers. As a result the company lost about $30 million in digital currency. The board of the platform stated later, they managed recover around a half of the stolen sum.
