Chinese Bank Issues $66-Million-Worth Securities on Blockchain

One of the top banking companies of the People’s Republic of China named Zheshang Bank has held a distribution among securities investors to the tune of $66 million with its own distributed ledger.
With reference to the published papers the Zheshang Bank board has filed a prospectus for securities issuance to the Shanghai Clearing House some time ago and noted that it was ready to emit securities to the amount over $66 million.
The Zheshang Bank corporation was among the first ones to issue securities last week having thus become one of the country’s first organizations that did so using their own distributed ledger.
Zheshang Bank was founded 14 years ago and is reckoned among the 12 banking organizations to express its interest in the distributed ledger technology.
