Every Third British Company Suffered From Crypto Jacking Over Last Month

Malwares for hidden crypto mining has infected almost one third of all British companies over the last month.
According to the poll held by the Citrix company, about 60% of British companies have complained on having detected malwares with 80% of them over the last half a year.
60% of companies told, less than 50 PCs were infected while 10% of companies had over 100 computers attacked.
Note that popularity of hidden mining, i.e. crypto jacking, has significantly risen over 2018. This kind of scam is resorted to by continuously growing number of criminals. Thus according to the report by Skybox Security, crypto jacking accounts for 32% of all online crimes while in 2017 it made only 7%.
