British MP Called Government for Using Blockchain
July 31, 2018
A member of UK parliament Eddie Hughes called British authorities for implementing blockchain to make their activities more efficient, rehabilitate themselves in the eyes of British people and to save money from the budget.
Hughes released a report called 'Unlocking Blockchain', where he offered to appoint someone to be responsible for blockchain, who will coordinate the strategy of the United Kingdom for using DLT in public services and working with data.
"The state should not be allowed to use such technology to intrude into the lives of individuals—but rather the technology should be used to empower individuals in their necessary engagements with the state."
It is worth noting that recently Tim Draper, a well-known venture capitalist, said that blockchain technology can create an ideal bureaucracy, completely and effectively changing the role of the government.
