July 30, 2018

The Internet giant has changed its policy towards mobile apps, that allows to mine cryptocurrency. A few months earlier Google had removed all cryptocurrency mining browser extensions from Chrome Web Store. "We don't allow apps that mine cryptocurrency on devices. We permit apps that remotely manage the mining of cryptocurrency."

It should be noted, that hidden mining, or cryptojacking, has become an increasing problem of the Internet.
