Ethereum Community Voted Against Restoration of Frozen Tokens in Parity Wallets

The community of Ethereum has voted against the improvement proposal of the Ethereum protocol, that would help to restore 513,000 ETH tokens of the multisig wallet Parity, that became frozen due to a vulnerability in smart contracts. Tokens wa freezed on November 7, when a user deleted a code library. It made the withdrawal of tokens impossible.
Four millions of Ethereum users voted, and more than a half of them were against the changes in the protocol of the network: 55% voted against, 39.4% voted for, and the rest abstained.
It should be noted, that 120 thousand people voted for changes in the last ten minutes of the vote, but failed to affect the overall result.
