South Korea to Examine Banks Involved in Crypto Exchanges
March 26, 2018
South Korean regulators are again carrying out inspections to find violations from anti money laundering standards among banks that deal with crypto exchanges. The examination is to start in April and involve lending agencies that offer corporate accounts to crypto platforms and organizations.
South Korea has already had total ban on cryptocurrencies rumored in January this year. Driven by serious public backlash the country’s authorities had to deny the information which, however, did not affect toughening of requirements to the crypto trading.
